Tricia Ling

Director, Pre-K Teacher & Music Enrichment

Tricia has been with AFCP since Jan. 2007. She has taught every age except the 2’s. Tricia has a BS Degree in Special Education from Greensboro College and has over 25 years of teaching experience, including homeschooling her 5 children. Tricia and her husband have a heart for foreign missions, having traveled to Nicaragua, China and Israel on missions trips. She and her husband have been married for 40 years, have raised 5 amazing children and have 3 beautiful grandchildren.

Lamar Mullis

Moms Morning Out (Mondays)
Toddlers & Twos Lead Teacher (M-F)

Lamar started substituting at AFCP in 2021 while her grandson was attending school there. This will be her second year teaching the Toddlers and Twos. She earned her middle school teaching certificate in 1996 from George Mason University and taught in Fairfax County, VA before moving to the Triad in 2003. She and her husband, Alan, have been married for 21  years. They have raised three amazing daughters, Courtney, Mandy and Julia and have four beautiful grandchildren.

Kassiedee Mullis

 Toddlers & Twos (Tu/Th)

This is my first year at Adams Farm Christian preschool. My daughter was a part of the preschool last year when we first moved to the Triad. My husband and I have been married for almost 2 years, and we have a beautiful three year-old daughter named Ember. I have an associates degree from Wake Tech Community College and currently going to school at UNC Pembroke.

 

Hannah Persson

Hannah is originally from Sweden. She moved to NC 12 years ago and lives in High point with her husband and 4 year old son. Two years ago she was looking for a pre-school for their son and fell in love with AFCP.  Last year she  volunteered as a sub, and this year she will be a teacher assistant for the 2 and 3 year olds.

Jeanna Evans

3 Year Olds (M-F) 

This is Jeanna’s 6th year at AFCP. Jeanna has 24 years of teaching experience. She graduated from Peace College with an Associates degree and UNC Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Jeanna and her husband, Jonathan, have two children, Elizabeth and Katherine.

Allison Touchatt

3 Year Olds (M-F)

Allison graduated from ECCC in 2012 with an Associates of Science in Social and Behavioral Sciences. This is her 4th year teaching at AFCP. Prior to teaching she was a substitute at AFCP for 3 years. She and her husband, Christopher, have been married for 12 years and have 2 beautiful children, William and Abigail.

“I love being able to watch and help cultivate the children’s love and knowledge of Jesus. Being a part of AFCP feels like coming home; we are family.”

Jessica Jacks

Three Year Olds (Tu/Thur)

Jessica  graduated from Meredith College in 2021. She earned a BA in International Studies while obtaining her K-6 teaching licensure. Jessica previously taught elementary school in Wake County. This will be her first year teaching at AFCP.

“I’m looking forward to teaching, learning, and growing together in Christ with the preschoolers, parents, and staff at AFCP.”

 

Chris Asbury

4 Year Olds (M-F)

Chris has served at AFCP since August 2007. She graduated from UNCG with a BS in Finance. Prior to coming to AFCP, she enjoyed many years volunteering at her daughter’s elementary school and VBS. Chris has been married for 26 years and has one daughter, two stepchildren and two grandsons.

“I’m blessed to have this preschool family, and I enjoy developing meaningful relationships with the children and their families while sharing the love of Jesus.”

Hilary Lewis

4 Year Olds (M-F)

Hilary has been teaching at AFCP since 2001. She is a member of Adams Farm Community Church and has also taught Children’s Church and volunteered with VBS and the church nursery. Hilary graduated from Humboldt State in California. She and her husband, Spencer, have two daughters, Robyn and Erin.

“I enjoy teaching at AFCP because it feels like we’re family. I also like to challenge the children to learn Bible verses.”

Elizabeth Stainback

4 Year Olds (M/W/F)

This will be Betsy’s 8th year at AFCP.  She previously worked with the 4 year olds, and recently returned to sub and was blessed to work 2 days a week in the 2 year old class. She has served in many children’s ministries at church in the last 25 years.  She graduated from UNCG. She has been married for 38 years and has one son.

Makaylah Ling

Floater Assistant

Makaylah has been a part of AFCP since she was homeschooled, helping in her mom’s classroom. When she graduated high school from Southern Guilford in 2017, she started volunteering and substituting until coming on staff as a teacher in 2019.

Chelsea Woodsend

Floater

This is Chelsea’s first year floating. This is her fifth year with AFCP. She has previously taught and volunteered at Adams Farm Christian Preschool. She has two wonderful kids.

“What I love most about teaching at AFCP is watching the children’s love for Jesus grow from the beginning of the year to the end.”

Jessica Argiento

Jessica graduated from Andrews High School and serves as a volunteer in all of the preschool classrooms.

Emily Fields

Volunteer Intern

Emily attended Grimsley High School. She studied Early Childhood Education at GTCC and at Randolph Community College. Emily began volunteering at AFCP in 2021. She enjoys helping the children with crafts and school work. Her hobbies are nail art and bowling.
